Oral Presentations

The time allocated for Oral Presentations includes question time.  For invited talks, we envisage presentations of 25 minutes + 5 minutes for questions and discussions.  For contributed talks, presentations will be of 12 minutes + 3 minutes for questions and discussions.  Please prepare your presentation with these timings in mind, as the  session chairs will be instructed to keep strictly to schedule. Invited papers are of 30 minutes total time including questions.

Speakers are asked to meet their session chair and upload their presentation to the on-site laptop during the break before their scheduled presentation.  To help things run smoothly, we would prefer presentations in PPT or PDF format - we do not plan to change laptops within a session so please prepare your presentations accordingly.

Poster presentations

Each poster will have its own poster board.  Posters may be hung in either landscape or portrait orientation however they will fit better if in portrait and a maximum size of A0.  Posters may be affixed to the poster board with Velcro tabs - available at the registration desk.  Please find the poster board with your poster number which will be found in the detailed programme (to be finalised).

There will be awards for the best Student Oral presentations and best Student Poster presentations which will be presented on Friday before lunch.
